Terms & Conditions
What the fare includes, how kilometres and hours are counted, cancellation, and the things we will not do on request.
Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to every booking made with Udaipur Taxi Booking, whether by phone, WhatsApp, email or through this website. They are written plainly so that nothing important is buried.
Booking and confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only when we send you written confirmation stating the vehicle, the date and the fare. A verbal enquiry is not a confirmed booking.
- For multi-day tours, wedding fleets and peak-season dates we normally require an advance to block the vehicle.
- The fare we confirm in writing is the fare that applies, even if a rate on this website changes afterwards.
What the fare includes
- Vehicle, chauffeur and fuel.
- Toll, state border permit and parking are charged at actuals, with receipts provided.
- Driver night allowance on outstation trips is a stated line in the quote.
- Not included: monument entry, boat rides, guide fees, safari charges, hotels and meals.
Kilometres and hours
- Local packages cover 8 hours and 80 km, or 4 hours and 40 km for a half day. Extra hours and kilometres are charged at the rate stated in your confirmation.
- Outstation trips are charged on total distance run including the return, with a minimum of 250 km per calendar day.
- A day runs from midnight to midnight, which is the standard convention across Rajasthan.
Cancellation
- More than 24 hours before pickup: no charge.
- Within 24 hours of pickup: part of the advance is retained, as a driver and vehicle have been assigned.
- No-show at the pickup point without notice: the full one-day charge applies.
- Weddings and multi-vehicle bookings carry separate written terms agreed at the time of booking.
Your responsibilities
- Smoking, alcohol consumption and any illegal substance in our vehicles is prohibited.
- Damage to the vehicle caused by passengers is chargeable at repair cost.
- The driver may decline to travel on a route that is unsafe, or to drive beyond legally permitted hours. This is for your safety and is not negotiable.
- Passenger counts must not exceed the vehicle’s permitted seating. We will not overload a vehicle on request.
Self-drive two-wheelers
- A valid original driving licence and photo ID are required, along with a refundable security deposit.
- Existing damage is photographed jointly at handover and at return.
- Traffic violations and challans during the rental period are the renter’s responsibility.
- Fuel is not included; the vehicle is handed over full and should be returned full.
Delays and events outside our control
We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, strikes, political disturbance, vehicle breakdown or any other event beyond our reasonable control. Where a breakdown occurs we will arrange a replacement vehicle as quickly as possible. We strongly recommend allowing a sensible margin before flights and trains, and we will advise you on timings if you ask.
Liability
All vehicles are comprehensively insured and carry valid permits. Our liability in any booking is limited to the value of that booking. Personal belongings are the responsibility of the passenger; we will always help trace anything left behind, and in practice we usually find it.
Payment
UPI, bank transfer, card or cash. Corporate clients may run on account with monthly consolidated billing. GST invoices are issued on request. Outstanding amounts are payable at the end of the trip unless a credit arrangement has been agreed in writing.
Complaints
Contact the office on +91 96101 55555 or info@udaipurtaxibooking.com. Complaints are answered by a person, normally the same day. Please raise an issue during the trip if you can — almost everything is fixable while you are still with us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the courts at Udaipur, Rajasthan.
