Fares, drivers, payment, cancellation and the small print — answered the way we would answer on the phone.
Everything, in one place
Sixteen questions we answer
on the phone every week.
Fares, drivers, payment, cancellation and the small print. If yours is not here, call +91 96101 55555 — a person picks up, at any hour.

Three ways, all of which reach a person: call +91 96101 55555, send a WhatsApp message, or fill the enquiry form on any page of this site. We come back with a written fare, and once you confirm we send the vehicle number and the driver’s name and mobile the evening before travel.
For a city sightseeing day or an airport transfer, same day is usually fine. For a tempo traveller or a multi-day tour, two or three days. For December and January — the Udaipur wedding season — a week for cars and two to three months for the wedding fleet and luxury vehicles.
Vehicle, chauffeur and fuel. Toll, state border permit and parking are charged at actuals with receipts handed to you. Monument entry, boat rides, guide fees, hotels and meals are not included and are paid by you directly at the printed rate.
No. A pre-booked airport pickup at 2 AM costs exactly what one at noon costs. Night surcharges on booked trips are, in our view, a way of quoting one price and collecting another.
UPI, bank transfer, card or cash. Multi-day tours and wedding bookings normally take an advance to block the vehicle with the balance at the end. Corporate clients can run on account with monthly billing and a GST invoice.
More than twenty-four hours before pickup, no charge at all. Inside twenty-four hours we retain part of the advance because a driver has already been assigned to you. Weddings and multi-vehicle bookings carry their own written terms agreed at booking.
Hindi and Mewari fluently, English at a workable conversational level — enough for directions, timings and recommendations, not enough for a guided commentary on Mewar history. For that we arrange a licensed guide, which we can do in English, Hindi and several other languages with notice.
Only if you ask him to. We do not run commission stops at handicraft emporiums or gem showrooms, which is the single most common complaint travellers have about taxi operators in Rajasthan.
Yes, and that is how we run every multi-day booking. By the third day he knows your pace, where you like to stop and who in the group cannot manage a long walk from the parking. That continuity is most of the value.
On request, with advance notice, at no extra charge. Tell us the child’s age when you book so we bring the right one.
Every one, comprehensively, with a valid commercial or All-India Tourist Permit, fitness certificate and pollution certificate. We will show you the papers if you ask, and supply copies in advance to corporate and institutional clients.
Give us the flight or train number when you book and we track it. The car arrives when you do. There is no waiting charge for a carrier’s delay — waiting time only starts thirty minutes after you have cleared the gate.
Not for cars — all four-wheeler hire is chauffeur-driven. Two-wheelers are self-drive: Honda Activa at ₹500 a day and Royal Enfield Classic 350 at ₹1,200, with licence, photo ID and a refundable deposit.
Regularly. All our outstation vehicles carry All-India Tourist Permits, so Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi are routine. Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Kevadia, Indore and Ujjain are frequent runs.
Yes, across every price band, and we will tell you honestly which properties are worth the money. Equally, many guests book their own stay and take only the car. We have no stake in either choice.
Call the office number, not just the driver. There is a person on the booking desk round the clock who can send a replacement vehicle, reroute the day or sort out a misunderstanding. A complaint reaching the office gets answered by a person the same day.
