Overview
You are going one way. Why pay for the car to come back?
A round-trip taxi charges you for the return leg whether you are in the car or not — that is how outstation pricing has always worked, and on a Udaipur-to-Jaipur run it means paying for 786 kilometres to travel 393. A one-way booking does away with that, because we have a car that needs to be in Jaipur anyway, or a guest coming back the other way the following morning.
It is not always possible. On routes and dates where we cannot pair the trip, we will tell you plainly and quote the round-trip rate instead of pretending. What we will not do is quote a one-way fare and then add a ‘return empty’ charge at the destination.
Every one-way is a private car — no sharing, no waiting for the vehicle to fill up, no stopping at four other addresses on the way out of town. You pick the departure time, and the only stops are the ones you ask for.

These twelve routes make up the bulk of our drop-only bookings. One-way availability depends on the date and direction, so fares are quoted per booking rather than printed.

The car is yours for the journey. These are the things we consider part of the fare rather than extras to discover later.

One way taxi from Udaipur — how it works
The logic is simple. Cars do not stay in one city. A family flying out of Jodhpur leaves us with a Crysta in Jodhpur, and somebody in Udaipur wants to get to Jodhpur the same day. Pair the two and both parties pay less. We keep a running board of these movements, which is why we can usually answer a one-way request within an hour.
The routes that pair most easily
Udaipur to Jodhpur and Udaipur to Ahmedabad are the easiest, because traffic runs in both directions daily. Jaipur is usually available. Jaisalmer and Delhi are harder in one direction than the other and depend on the week. Mount Abu is seasonal — simple in summer, harder in the monsoon.
When a one-way is not available
We will say so. On those dates the round-trip tariff applies: the per-kilometre rate above, calculated on the full distance including the return, with a minimum of 250 km per day and a driver night allowance. It is more expensive, and it is still the honest number rather than a low quote with surprises attached.
Interstate travel
All our outstation vehicles carry All-India Tourist Permits, so Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi are all straightforward. State border permit charges are passed on at cost with the receipt in your hand. Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Indore are routine runs for us.

You are charged for the distance you travel rather than for the round trip. It works when we have a vehicle that needs to make that journey anyway. When we cannot pair it, we say so and quote the round-trip rate instead of hiding a return charge in the fine print.
Jodhpur and Ahmedabad, then Jaipur. Jaisalmer, Delhi and Indore depend on the week and the direction. Mount Abu is easy in summer, harder in the monsoon.
Never. Every booking is a private vehicle. You choose the departure time and the only stops are yours.
They are charged at actuals with receipts handed to you. We do not build an estimate into the fare and keep the difference.
Yes, and it is a good way to travel. Udaipur to Jodhpur via Ranakpur and Kumbhalgarh is the classic. Udaipur to Jaipur via Chittorgarh and Pushkar works too. These are priced as a day’s hire with a drop rather than a plain transfer.
For a one-way pairing, two or three days gives us the best chance. In the December–January wedding season, a week. Same-day is often possible on the Jodhpur and Ahmedabad routes.
