The most-booked car on our list, and for good reason.
If we had to keep one vehicle, it would be the Innova Crysta. It seats six adults without anyone pretending the third row is fine, the boot takes real suitcases, the ride is high enough that the Sajjangarh climb and the Kumbhalgarh ghat feel like nothing, and it starts every morning in a Udaipur January. Toyota reliability is not an advertising line when your car is doing 90,000 km a year.
Ours are configured with captain seats in the middle row — two individual chairs rather than a bench — which makes a five-hour drive to Jodhpur a different experience. For families of six we can swap to the bench configuration on request, and a roof carrier goes on whenever the luggage insists.
We also run the Innova Hycross, the petrol-hybrid successor. It is quieter, smoother in traffic and better on fuel; corporate guests who spend the drive on calls tend to ask for it by name. Both are available for city days, airport runs and long outstation circuits.

Innova Crysta on rent in Udaipur — what to know
The Crysta occupies a useful middle ground. A sedan is cheaper and fine for two people with cabin bags. A tempo traveller is right from about ten people upward. Between those two — a family of four with luggage, a group of five friends, two couples doing a Rajasthan circuit — the Crysta is simply the correct answer, and the price difference over a sedan is smaller than most people expect.
Seating configuration
Our standard setup is 6+1: two in front, two captain chairs in the middle, two in the rear. If you are seven travellers we can provide a bench middle row for 7+1, but be honest with yourself about luggage first. Seven people with seven suitcases in a Crysta is not a comfortable five hours, and we would rather suggest a second vehicle than have you find out at Pali.
Long circuits
The Crysta is our default recommendation for the longer Rajasthan runs — Udaipur to Jodhpur to Jaisalmer, or the Golden Triangle extension up to Jaipur and Agra. On those trips you keep the same car and the same driver throughout, which matters more on day six than it does on day one.
Weddings and events
Crystas do a great deal of wedding work in Udaipur: family transfers, guest shuttles between the hotel and the venue, and the vehicle that carries the elders when a decorated luxury car carries the couple. Rates for wedding days are quoted per day and include the longer hours that these bookings always run to.

₹2,500 for a full day inside the city — 8 hours and 80 km including driver and fuel. Half day is ₹1,500 and an airport transfer is ₹1,400. Outstation is billed at ₹12 per kilometre with a 250 km daily minimum.
Six passengers plus the driver in our standard captain-seat layout. A 7+1 bench configuration is available on request, but with seven people and full luggage we would honestly suggest a second car or a tempo traveller.
The Crysta is the proven diesel workhorse and slightly cheaper. The Hycross is the petrol-hybrid: quieter, smoother in city traffic, better on fuel. For long highway circuits most people prefer the Crysta; for corporate travel in the city, the Hycross.
Fitted free on request when you tell us at booking. It is the difference between five suitcases travelling comfortably and five suitcases travelling on somebody’s knees.
Yes, and it is one of our commonest wedding bookings — usually for family transfers and guest shuttles alongside a decorated luxury car for the couple. Wedding days are quoted per day, generally ₹6,000–₹10,000.
Usually, because we own a large number of them. December and January wedding weekends are the exception — then a few days’ notice genuinely helps.
