We started in 1997 with one car and a landline. The fleet has passed a hundred vehicles since then; the way we work has not changed.
Our story
In 1997 this business was a single car parked outside a house in Udaipur. The work was pilgrims to Nathdwara and back, the phone was a landline, and the bookings went into a register that is still in a cupboard somewhere in the office.
What grew from that was not a plan so much as a habit. Say yes when you can deliver, say no when you cannot, and own the vehicle rather than borrowing it. Twenty-nine years later the fleet has passed a hundred vehicles — sedans, Innovas, a Hycross, Fortuners, tempo travellers, a Force Urbania, luxury sedans from Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Jaguar, three running vintage cars from 1928, 1965 and 1969, and coaches for the large wedding movements.
The habit has not changed. We still buy our own cars, we still service them at the authorised workshop, and the drivers on our roster have in many cases been with us for a decade or more. That is why we can promise a Crysta at four in the morning in December and not have to make a phone call first.
Today we are a Udaipur travel house doing three kinds of work: tourism — sightseeing, tours and transfers for guests from across India and abroad; weddings — the fleet movements that a destination wedding at Udaivilas or the Leela actually requires; and corporate contracts for businesses in and around Mewar. Roughly two and a half lakh guests have travelled with us since that first Ambassador.
How we work
None of these are marketing positions. They are the things that decide whether a travel business is still here in thirty years.
No brokering, no sub-contracting to whoever is free that morning. If you book a Crysta, one of our Crystas arrives. It is the single biggest difference between an operator and an aggregator, and it is expensive to maintain.
Kilometres, driver allowance, tolls and parking, all stated in advance. No night charge invented at midnight, no rounding up at the end, no commission stops at handicraft emporiums.
Our chauffeurs are on our roster, in uniform, holding commercial licences with badge. Many have been here ten years or more. They know the roads because they have driven them thousands of times.
If a date is committed, we tell you. If your itinerary is too ambitious for the days you have, we say so. Occasionally this costs us a booking; it has never cost us a returning guest.

We landed at 11:40 PM and the Crysta was already at the kerb with our name on a card. Over three days Bheru bhai took us to City Palace, Sajjangarh and Kumbhalgarh, and on day two he quietly rearranged the order so we’d catch the sunset from the fort. Billing was exactly what was quoted on WhatsApp.
Booked at 2 AM for a 6 AM pickup, half expecting it to fall through. Car was outside the hotel at 5:45. Clean, cold AC, and the driver did not once ask for a tip or try to take us to a ‘handicraft emporium’. That alone is worth writing about.
Fourteen vehicles across three days at Udaivilas — two luxury sedans, the 1969 Mercedes for the bidaai, and tempo travellers shuttling guests. One coordinator on WhatsApp handled the whole thing. Nothing was late. In a Udaipur December that is not a small claim.
We are a Udaipur-based travel and car rental company operating across Rajasthan, with our office at Uday Towers on Road No. 1 near the Navratna Complex. The business has run continuously since 1997 and is family-managed. Every vehicle in the fleet is owned by us, carries a valid commercial or All-India Tourist Permit, and is comprehensively insured.
Udaipur and the whole of Mewar is home ground — Nathdwara, Eklingji, Kumbhalgarh, Ranakpur, Haldighati, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh and Jaisamand. Beyond that we run regularly to Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Jaipur, Ajmer, Pushkar, Mount Abu and Ranthambore, and interstate into Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh — Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Kevadia, Indore and Ujjain.
Hyundai Verna sedans, Toyota Innova Crysta and Hycross, Toyota Fortuner, tempo travellers in 12, 17, 20 and 26-seat sizes, a 13-seat Force Urbania, 35 and 45-seat coaches, luxury sedans from Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar, three running vintage cars, and Royal Enfield and Honda two-wheelers for self-drive hire.
Because the fare quoted is the fare charged, because the car arrives before it is due, and because the driver on day six is the same one who met you at the airport on day one. None of that is remarkable. It is simply rarer than it should be.

All of Rajasthan, with Mewar as home ground, plus interstate work into Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Kevadia, Indore and Ujjain are routine runs.
