This policy explains what we collect when you use this website or book a vehicle with us, why we collect it and what we do with it. It is written to be read rather than to be legally impressive.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us — name, mobile number, email address, travel dates and route, submitted through the enquiry form, WhatsApp, email or a phone call.
- Booking details — pickup and drop locations, vehicle chosen, passenger count, and flight or train numbers if you provide them.
- Billing information — the details needed to raise an invoice, including GST particulars for corporate clients. We do not store card numbers.
- Basic website analytics — pages visited and general location, in aggregate, so we know which parts of the site are useful.
Why we collect it
To quote a fare, assign a vehicle and driver, contact you about your booking, raise an invoice, and comply with the record-keeping that transport regulations require. We do not build marketing profiles and we do not sell, rent or trade your details to anybody.
Who sees it
Our booking staff, the driver assigned to your trip (name, mobile and pickup details only), and our accounts team for invoicing. Where a booking includes a hotel, a guide or a safari operator, we pass on only what that supplier needs to serve you. Authorities receive information only where the law requires it.
Our enquiry forms open WhatsApp with your details pre-filled so you can review them before sending. Nothing is transmitted to us until you press send in WhatsApp itself. Messages you send are subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy terms as well as this policy.
How long we keep it
Booking and billing records are retained for the period required under Indian tax and transport law. Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted periodically. You can ask us to delete your details at any time and we will, except where a legal retention requirement applies.
Cookies
This site uses only what is needed to function, plus basic analytics. We do not run advertising trackers or retargeting pixels. Your browser can block cookies entirely and the site will still work.
Your rights
Ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to info@udaipurtaxibooking.com or call +91 96101 55555 and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page. Material changes will be noted at the top.
