Twenty-nine years ago this was a single car parked outside a house in Udaipur, taking pilgrims to Nathdwara and back. The phone was a landline and the bookings were written in a register that we still have somewhere.
What changed is the size of the yard. What did not change is that we own the vehicles. When you book a Crysta with us, a Crysta comes — not whatever a broker managed to find that morning.

We landed at 11:40 PM and the Crysta was already at the kerb with our name on a card. Over three days Bheru bhai took us to City Palace, Sajjangarh and Kumbhalgarh, and on day two he quietly rearranged the order so we’d catch the sunset from the fort. Billing was exactly what was quoted on WhatsApp.

A full day inside Udaipur city is ₹1,800 in a sedan and ₹2,500 in an Innova Crysta. That covers up to 8 hours and 80 km, hotel pickup, and drop back in the evening. Beyond 8 hours we charge ₹200 per extra hour, told to you before the clock starts, not after.
Yes, at any hour. Dabok is 22 km from the city and we track your flight number, so a three-hour delay is our problem, not yours. Late-night arrivals are one of the most common bookings we handle — roughly one in five of our airport runs lands after 11 PM.
Driver allowance is a separate, fixed line item — ₹300 per night for outstation trips — and it is written into the quote before you confirm. You never hand cash to the driver for his meals or room. Toll and state permit are charged at actuals with receipts.
UPI, bank transfer and card all work. Corporate clients get a GST invoice on company letterhead, usually within the same week. For multi-day tours we normally take a small advance to block the vehicle and the balance at the end of the trip.
We run 12, 17, 20 and 26-seat tempo travellers plus a 13-seat Force Urbania for groups that want recliners and standing headroom. For a wedding baraat or a school trip we can put four or five of them on the road together, coordinated by one person on WhatsApp.
Cancel more than 24 hours before pickup and there is no charge at all. Inside 24 hours we keep a small part of the advance to cover the driver who has already been assigned. Weddings and multi-vehicle bookings have their own terms, agreed in writing when you book.
Booking a taxi in Udaipur without the usual headache
Udaipur is a small city with a very particular geography. The old town around Jagdish Temple is a knot of lanes where a tempo traveller simply cannot go. Sajjangarh sits at the top of a climb that a tired hatchback will resent. Nathdwara is an easy hour on a good road, but the parking near the temple fills by nine. Knowing this is most of the job, and it is the reason a local operator will usually get you through a day faster than a cab hailed on an app.
We work on written fares. A full day in the city is ₹1,800 in a sedan or ₹2,500 in an Innova Crysta, for eight hours and eighty kilometres, and if the day runs longer it is ₹200 an hour — a number you are told at the start, not at the end. Outstation runs are charged per kilometre with a stated driver allowance. There is no surge, no separate ‘AC charge’, and no pressure to visit a handicraft emporium that pays commission.
Where our cars go most
The single most-booked route is the airport transfer: Maharana Pratap Airport at Dabok is twenty-two kilometres out, and roughly forty minutes in normal traffic. After that comes the full-day city tour, then Nathdwara and Eklingji for Shrinathji darshan, then the Kumbhalgarh and Ranakpur pair, which makes a long but rewarding day. Beyond Mewar we run regularly to Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Jaipur, Mount Abu, Chittorgarh, Pushkar and Ahmedabad, and we hold the permits for interstate travel into Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
Weddings are their own animal
Between November and February a large part of the fleet moves to destination weddings at Udaivilas, the Leela, Taj Lake Palace, Trident, Radisson and the heritage venues around Badi and Kumbhalgarh. That work needs more than cars: it needs a person tracking twelve vehicles across three days, a decorated lead car that is spotless at seven in the morning, and guest shuttles that do not strand anyone at the airport. We have been doing it for two decades, and we will tell you honestly if a date is already committed rather than accept and improvise.
